Initial thoughts……
Well, here I am. This is my first post on my first blog. Pretty exciting times.
As you may, or may not, have already figured out, this blog is intended to be primarily about the things of God, faith and things reformed. By reformed, I mean things and people of the reformation, including Martin Luther, Calvin etc. Of particular interest are the Puritans. I may be slightly biased here since I have recently found out that I am distantly related to Stephen Charnock. By no means do I profess to be an authority in any these things, in fact I am starting a journey of exploration and I am quite enjoying myself so far. There is a vast wealth of great teaching and information from these men and women our history, our brothers and sisters in Christ.
In addition to any discussions that may take place, I also intend for this to be somewhat of a journal of my journey in God’s word and paths that He may lead me on. May we be ever mindful of His presence. He is the Lord God almighty!
