2 Peter 1:3,4
“3as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. ” NKJV
I don’t know how many times I have read this passage of Scripture, but this morning it really stood out. WOW! Our Lord and Saviour has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through His great and precious promises, so that we can take part in the divine nature. Can you even begin to imagine the magnitude of that? Not only is this truly amazing, but it seems incomprehensible that He would give such things to people so undeserving. Thank and praise God for His wonderful gifts and even more wonderful redemptive work.
